Lloyd: *nods somberly, then looks sheepish* Okay, don’t take this the wrong way, but Monty kinda scares me. *waves his hands around in a ‘no’ motion* Not in a bad way! He’s really cool, and so, so different from me, but I think that’s why he’s scary. He’s been through so much more than I have if the story he told Morro is anything to go off of, and yet he still manages to be a great ninja, a great brother, and a great person in general. He never gave up in situations where I would have just quit. I wish I had that determination.

Morro: Don’t sell yourself short, Lloyd. You may not have had to deal with what he has, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t come out on top of your own struggles. You’re as determined as he is; after all, it takes a lot to keep defending the city after everything they do.

Lloyd: *gives a sad smile* …thanks Morro.

Zane: I, for one, am fascinated by my counterpart. Silver is not only obviously a nindroid, but he also emulates humanity to a degree that I could not hope to achieve at this point in time.

So, you may have noticed that show!Nya’s nickname didn’t get mentioned… yeah, she kinda doesn’t have one yet. I have Aqua as a working name for now, but it doesn’t click like the rest of them did. Any suggestions? 😅

But yeah! I’ve super enjoyed coming up with different scenarios for the two teams to hang out with each other 😁 Their similarities and differences are fun to play up.

thank you! auogh i got a good few asks about this for the past few months/ last year that i feel pretty bad for not answering- so i’ll answer and talk about things >:) i hope you have a good 2026 too anon!!

but HELLO!!! it’s been a while since i’ve made any sort of post! i’m forever grateful and thankful to hear there’s a vast amount of people who love tsp as much as i do, to the point of rereading and theorizing events!! i’ve been super inactive but know that i love hearing what everyone has to say <3

so, why have i been inactive?

i’ll attempt to keep it brief but i’ll ramble on in the read more! i’ve also posted a comment on ao3 about it here!

TLDR; 2025 has been a lot for me with life. it has been somehow the most stressful yet rewarding year possible? i didn’t make a lot of creative work in general and i have to prioritize my degree first! plus (and not mentioned in the comment) on the working end of tsp there haven’t been beta readers active to assist. more down below vvv

i believe i’ve said it a Lot in the past, but tsp’s main plot and storyline are things i’ve had in mind for a Very long time and limited life came around at the best possible time for me to link what i love most about it with the narrative of a monster hunter x monster dynamic that explores the true depth (heh) of it. i love making and creating stories; with the prospect of tsp happening in my life was the absolute best! i’m still so proud of what i’ve done.

tsp at this point feels like my original story that i just so happened to slap on the life series/empires cast so i do plan on turning this into its own, standalone world and story! i can’t do that without finishing what ive started though, and i plan on working on tsp more depending on what my year looks like. i’m a third year college student who also does art commissions and personal writing, so it’s hectic.

i’ve also been working on my ocs for a majority of last year! particularly my 1920s story ‘of beauty and desire’ with main character adonis and the world i’ve created with that. i’ve done a lot of research of the life and times, and i ended up falling in love with both the story and with my wonderful partner <3 knowing how much my stories can make my audience feel and even forming a relationship out of it is extraordinary and absolutely lovely. so switching from a more real-world basis of obad to tsp was a bit of a time that i eventually stopped, but i love both stories to bits.

spending time with my partner and other people outside of the life series fandom made me realize i’m not really in the minecraft scene anymore. i’ve been following indie webcomics, playing final fantasy and reading books! on top of spending time with friends and the like. i’ll chuckle at a minecraft clip or two but i’ve been distant from the fandom and i’m not certain some characters will work the way i want them to (i know the skizz thing was a long time ago, but it sours me to write him as a pov character. i don’t want that kind of experience to further when writing and creating for a story that’s ultimately my own)

i’ve been cutting on my online time too so that might be another thing; the only times i’m really online is to check on my kofi, vgen, and toyhouse for character archival and sales but i’ve been so out of it because of college i haven’t done much art 💀 i do appreciate being checked out though!!

finally, and this is what dampened my motivation about tsp the most, is the lack of response from my betas. the beta readers that have been with me for so long truly pushed me to continue writing and editing with my co-writer! i live for their feedback and assistance that i can’t continue without them. i remember this problem reaching near 2024’s end, when none of them responded and i was left panicking since i couldn’t really schedule the other chapters if they had no feedback. it all ended up with the project growing quiet and being the way that it is. i’d love to get betas though! it’s a main factor to pushing me to create more as i’ll have a primary audience to workshop with before i push things out again.

i’ve been busy, demotivated, and pretty distant from tsp, but its story and overall message to me as the creator is still relevant and i love it! there’s plenty of factors that have made me put it on hiatus for so long, but i do want to come back to it! i’ve actually made some concept art for redesigns and reimagines. so this story does still carry a part with me!

i’ll attempt to be more active within the space as best as i can, and if all goes right with betas and getting struck with more ideas, i’ll come back proper and swinging! tsp is fully plotted out so it’s really just laying everything down. for now though, i’ll leave you all with some concept art to hopefully appease the masses- thank you for reading all of my ramblings, and thank you for all the encouragement :’) you’ve all been so wonderful and i want to come back strong >:)
