I love how much of the boys’ personalities they put into this shot.
It’s also an interesting case of plot-forced character development, as it is rather uncharacteristic of Kai to join the boys for breakfast. We know that the writers needed him to go with them so that they would all be left behind together, and I suppose they didn’t want to draw attention to it by coming up with an excuse, and so the only in-universe explanation is that Kai actually wanted to spend time with his team.
