a new beginning once again for convex – taeyong’s incredibly open to it, and while he, of course, has certain melancholic feelings about the most recent lineup changes, he’s still quite optimistic for their future as a group – it’s also, in his opinion, a good thing that sphere has decided to add some new members into the group in lieu of recent events. in his eyes, they’re not replacements of old memories, but rather new friends that hopefully can get along and make new ones in the near future.
baby steps, he thinks. it’ll all resolve itself in time, and taeyong just decides to trust in the process that got him here in the first place. he translates any worrying or otherwise not positive thought into doing something that makes the new members feel more like home – seonghwa especially since he’s also a new roommate. he walks into their room wearing a sheet mask, noticing the other inside. “oh, hey, seonghwa-ssi! want some snacks? i’ll let you in on my secret stash if you want.”
sometimes, he found it hard forgetting that he wasn’t alone anymore. even if he had moved into the dorm and started training, it was easy for him to move around as if he was a ghost. other than formal introduction, he hadn’t really talked to the other member’s yet. including his room-mates. in fact, he had got so lost in his own head, that he didn’t realize that someone was speaking to him. and that someone was taeyong.
it was a nice offer but he gently shook his head no. “thank you, but i’m okay. i think i’m going to eat soon.” he didn’t snack often, even when he didn’t eat much. “but if you’re hungry and willing to wait a bit, i’m going to cook so i could make extra for you.” he also didn’t feel like going out to get something to eat. “i brought some food so there are a few things i could make.”
