I never really cared for early 2000s manufactured pop music or celebrity-for-the-sake-of-celebrity culture, but I loved the purely irreverent piss-taking of the much-missed Liquid News. “Madonna’s ex-sperm donor Carlos Leon has been busted for sucking on a crafty puff”, “Stars of stage and screen, and Adam Rickitt, came together to pay tribute...”, “Michael Jackson [beep]s kids”, “Thanks to all of our guests, and Pete Burns”, etc.
