Why what's up with russel Tovey? When is queers out?

in an interview of his, he said “I feel like I could have been really effeminate, if I hadn’t gone to the school I went to … If I’d have been able to relax, prance around, sing in the street, I might be a different person now. I thank my dad for that, for not allowing me to go down that path.”, basically shitting on effeminate gay men who’ve come before him. he apologized on twitter but it was half-assed and i personally don’t think he learned anything from it. 

as for queers, the eight monologues will be put on stage at ‘the old vic’ this july, and will then be broadcast on television. i wasn’t able to find out an exact date yet, but hopefully it’s gonna happen before the end of summer. the trailer and more information can be found here.
