I GLANCED OVER AT THE WRONG TIME TO SEE EZZY EATING THE AFTERBIRTH
EZZY'S HAVING A THIRD!
She just yowled a little, which is apparently her "Baby time!" sound. When she shifted a little, I could see the sac the baby is in coming out of her. Blech.
The other two are all over her, trying to get in her way. Number one really seems to want to crawl back inside of her...
I wish I didn't have to go to work soon. I want to stay and make sure Ezzy's alright.
SECOND KITTY INCOMING
JESUS CHRIST IT'S SUPER GROSS.
At first it wasn't so bad, BUT WATCHING HER EAT HER OWN BODY PARTS IS AWFUL. And that first cat is all up in Ezzy's way, trying to get her attention while she cleans the new one.
I thought it would be bloodier than it is, but it's still super gross.
The second one is moving around a little, so it seems to be alright.
The first one is gray with black stripes, but it's hard to tell what the second one is, because it's all wet.
Much earlier, I decided to leave Ezzy alone, since I couldn't stop touching her, and went into my room, but a few minutes later she came in looking for me. When I got up and went to her box to see if something had happened, she followed. Nothing was wrong, so I went back to my room, but Ezzy was right on my heels. I figured she didn't want to be alone, so I picked up the box with her and the kitten inside and moved it back under my desk.
Just now, I went to the kitchen to get something to eat, and not a minute later she got up to see what I was doing, and won't go back to the box unless I'm in the room.
But when she comes into my room, and hears her kitten crying, she immediately rushes over to curl up around her baby. She's a good mama cat; sort of. If I get up to get food, she's guaranteed to follow me, even if her baby starts crying as soon as she does.
She still feels like she has kittens inside of her, so I'm not sure what to do. I hope she doesn't need to go to the vet.
It's been almost three hours
But there's no more kittens. The websites I've found say that no more than an hour should pass between kittens, so I'm super worried. I panicked a little, and keep wondering if we should take her to the vet (which we totally can't afford, so I would like to avoid if possible).
Alternatively, maybe she only ever had one kitten in the first place? Maybe there are no more kittens? I know a cat's first litter is supposed to be small. But she still looks kind of big, so I can't be sure.
The first kitten is doing fine. It keeps crawling all over Ezzy, and making adorable squeaking noises. I love it already~
AAAAH. IT'S SO CUTE, BY THE WAY. THERE'S ALREADY ONE BABY.
My aunt woke me and Cheylock up, saying Ezzy was having babies. She chose a spot by the couch, instead of the box I made for her. So I shoved it behind her and she crawled into it. One baby was already born, and was crawling around crying (that's the only reason my aunt even knew anything was happening). While Ezzy just stared, the little kitty crawled around in a circle for seven minutes trying to figure out where its mama went. Bad mom, Ezzy, seriously!
It's been crawling all over her, mewling, and Ezzy's just laid there the whole time, glaring, like she's saying, "Oh my god, shut it, please, I'm trying to have kittens here."
