Yeah I've never been exposed to another perspective until now, but US education often only shows a White Americans perspective on things, so I really appreciate this info.

And when I say 'American' I mean someone from the U.S., although I do realize anyone from the Americas is American. X
yes i understand and i hope one day we can all have a more equal education, more globalized, in a non capitalist use of the word lol. X
bbcbye replied to your post “Hey, I'm curious about your comment on the post, what does Central...”
Thanks! I'm Puerto Rican but I've been raised in California, and the geography curriculum here teaches students that Mexico is part of Central America. As far as the Carribean islands go, it's based completely on region except for Puerto Rico (1/2)
bbcbye replied to your post “Hey, I'm curious about your comment on the post, what does Central...”
(2/2) which is US territory. Anyways, thanks again!
no prob ;) and yes i supposed that’s how they must teach it in the u.s. which is weird and a shame i mean i wish i still had my elementary school books with me so i could show you a picture (since google likes to show different things depending if you search for the words in spanish or english). ur welcome :D
Hey, I'm curious about your comment on the post, what does Central America include if it excludes Mexico? Or are you saying that there is essentially only north and South America? I need a little clarification, thank you X
Hey! well i should begin by saying that his is how /i/ was thought in school that the continental division is made...
north america: México, The United States of America and Canada
central america: Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama
south america: Colombia, Brasil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guyana, French Guiana, Suriname, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina
though i can’t remember where all the caribbean islands fit in this tbh so if anyone from there or more educated about this subject than me knows i’d love to learn
pre-relationship femlock and femjohn not being weird about sharing beds/food/space because girl friendships are generally more physically affectionate. and if they both hold on a bit too long when they hug or sit too close in the back of a cab, well,
honestly...... why am I single
okay ana your voice is so soothing
thank you ari!!
