frey here, on my personal. i think you misread my question. what i mean is, "it's not a pen pal if only one of the two participators are actually participating". what are you supposed to say to someone you aren't going to get a reply from? "oh hi, i had a nice day, i did this and this" and you can't even bond with the other person, since they can't reply or get replies? it's not a penpal thing like this. people can't build relationships, since they can't hold conversations or anything.

You’ll respond to their submission as though you’re sending a letter back to their return address, you just won’t know who they are but they will see your response and they’ll write back accordingly, and the whole Pen Pal exchange is to get to know one another.

you don't seem to be in chatzy, so i'll bring it up here! how are we going to send letters, if we aren't getting responses from that person? it would be like talking to a wall! plus, how will the meet up dinner work? "oh hey i know lots about you but you know nothing about me"? won't every be busy with their " other" partner?

You can message us at BB and we’ll poke the person in question to see what’s up! With that being said, we were going to mention this on Saturday night, but we cannot stress it enough that if someone feels that they won’t be able to keep up with submitting letters then it would be best to resign from the sign up list!

The dinner will happen once the anonymous veil is removed, which will be left until the very end of the event. ‘u’ It’ll be two different dinners so everyone has a chance to get know both of their Pen Pals, so it can be handled on the dash or in a chatzy whenever they’re ready to go at it.

Question about penpal event: will two people have each other as their penpals, or will somebody have a penpal and that penpal have somebody else for a penpal? And if two people have each other for a penpal, how would it remain anonymous, because wouldn't we need their blogs to send letters? Sorry for the questions :3

Everyone will have their own Pen Pal which means you won’t be getting a letter from the one you’re writing to. c: Sorry for the instructions being confusing! (Luna’s the most confusing mod let’s be real. LOL) So technically it would look like this:

Person A > Person CPerson B > Person DPerson D > Person APerson C > Person B

So it will still very much be random and you’ll have someone to write to PLUS someone to respond to.

According to a little birdie, I’m assuming the event will start on October 8, since that’s when the deadline for receiving characters would be!
