There has been so much negativity in the world that the goddess just couldn’t keep up with it anymore, let alone bear through it all, so the lands far and wide have been dying. She tried her hardest to keep the world from falling apart even though her powers were failing as time went on, but sadly enough… Her time was up. It seemed as though her tears caused her to turn to stone, for what reason? We do not know. Pastors and priestesses have felt that there is a great disturbance in the atmosphere which can only be cleansed through pure acts of kindness and love. They say that just falling in love will spread a much-needed positive aura.

★ Now Accepting Reserves! ★

We have two new Alternate Universes on the way and we’re currently accepting reserves for them, so keep reading if you’re interested!

All of you are already aware of our Modern AU being a W.I.P. (work in progress), but last week we asked for everyone to vote on the next upcoming AU and we’ve finally reached a tie-breaker!

We’re happy to announce that the winner is…

Fairytale AU!

So without further adieu, we’re going to accept reserves for both the Modern AU and Fairytale AU until they’re officially ready for applications in July! (Your reserve will not expire until a week after the official grand opening announcement.) We’ll let all of you know when that time comes, of course, so please know that you’re welcome to change your reserve and/or submit an application once the universe information has been posted.

Both AUs will require their members to create a Tumblr Blog (Discord RP will be optional) and they will also accepting ALL characters from Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, and Rune Factory.

We no longer have a Character Limit, which means you are allowed to reserve and apply for as many characters as you can handle.

Fairytale AU will feature all possible combinations of fairytales from evil witches to princesses who fall under sleeping curses– Mermaids, and wolves, and magical-healing-tears, oh my! Plenty of mayhem to come…

To reserve a character…

Check the Masterlist first to see if your character is not already taken, then send a message with the following information:

Date (Month/Day), Character(s), and the AU(s) they’ll be joining.

MARVELOUSrealm is a unique RP community, the first of its kind in this fandom as far as we’re aware, where we have multiple Alternate Universes (multiverse) and we’re not limited to a single masterlist or an overall theme– as we’ve got the means to live any life we want to! All characters of the Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, and Rune Factory series are welcome here. You’ll have the chance to pick up a muse you’ve always wanted, one way or another, if you join one of our existing realms or petition to create one of your very own. We also have a laid-back Activity Check system to focus on having fun and roleplaying, rather than worrying about passing or failing at the end of the month. This group aims to provide all of us with the opportunity of playing with any kind of life we might like for our favorite muses while also building friendships in the process.

Hey everyone who still follows this blog!

Occasionally, from time to time, I still get messages on here asking why we closed, if I’ll ever bring it back, etc. And while I have thought a lot about it, I decided I wanted to experiment even more with the RP format, and that’s how this new RP was born.

It’s going to be a mixture of tumblr and discord chat RPing, with that same casual tone that BB carried. The main draw to this is that there is multiple AUs that can be created and RPed in, all separate from each other!

would you ever considering bringing this back in the future? the format was really clever!

Thank you!! I’m going to cut this because I get a little wordy and emotional here, so click the readmore if you want.

Honestly, yeah, I would love to bring this back someday. I put a lot of effort into this blog (a lot of us did) and as it died it was, in my opinion, more dignified to close it down officially than to slowly let it die out, like it was doing anyway. Unfortunately, school and work and personal life consumed me and it became hard for me to be around, and as hard as my lovely mods were working it just wasn’t enough with all three of us. To have an active community is more than just members occasionally posting. It takes time and effort from all ends, and it was unfortunately lacking on all ends. (And I’m not just blaming the members here! I was not around when I needed to be and we had a lack of manpower because of it.)

I may, maybe, when I get more time again, bring this RP back to life. It will forever be my baby, the very first RP I ever thought up by myself and made the blog (with the help of my first coadmin). I’m very attached to it and I have a lot of fond memories in this blog.

But I don’t have this style of RP copyrighted or anything (I actually took bits and parts from other RPs I’ve been apart of!) so if someone were to emulate this or copy the format for the Harvest Moon fandom, I’d have no complaints whatsoever. (I might even join because hey, being part of an RP is a lot less work than running an RP).

TL;DR: Maybe. I don’t have as much free time as I did when I conceived the idea (and even then my time was scarce as I was just moving into college) but I’d absolutely love to. The future is uncertain! But since I’m giving such a wishy-washy answer, I completely give up the right to be upset if someone makes an RP that is very similar in style. :)

idk if anyone is around to answer asks anymore, but can we ask why the blog was shut down?

Mostly due to inactivity and lack of new members. Our ads were attracting less and less attention and people, and with school starting it likely would have plummeted even more. There were only a few current members consistently posting as well.

Announcement

It is with great sadness that we inform our members that, after much discussion between all of the mods, we have decided to officially close BokumonoBlogging.

The decision was not an easy one to make, but we think it may be for the best of the group as a whole. We’d like to thank all of our members, both current and past, for the wonderful experience you’ve all granted us, and for making this group as fun as it was. We wouldn’t have been able to get this far without you all.

We hope to see you again, in other groups or simply on our personal tumblrs!

Summer Splash: Water Fight

Beach? Water? Sounds like a good time! Grab those water guns, fill up the water balloons with water from the pump nearby and get to the fight! Careful not to hit any strangers though ;)

Ask Game: On Friday between 10pm and 2am (BB time) you’ll be going into people’s ask boxes to squirt each other with water guns or hit each other with water balloons! If you have been hit, you can’t send any messages for five minutes. (If you get hit at 11pm and again at 11:02pm you can still start sending messages at 11:05pm.) At 2am the game will end and you’ll send the amount of people you’ve hit to us! The person who squirted the most people will win!
