I just read somebody go “I miss when they took more time to make Pokemon games” as an argument against the National Dex thing.

(Japanese release dates. The first years are the years of the first couple games/the second year is the year of the “same game but with a slight change...” And also BW2)

Besides that one time they spent an extra year on Black and White (probably because those two games are pretty different post game graphically, and because of how everything needed to be animated for some reason) Pokemon games have always had three years of development in between gens!

(To be fair, when I pointed this out to the person they were like “oh yeah” but I know that a lot of others have this shit argument that can be proven wrong with a two second Google search.)
