I don't like girls who go to events and just try to look cute and shit. I don't mind it if they're there to support their friends or something along those lines but going solely for the purpose of trying to get attention irritates me. If a girl is really into the scene, cool but otherwise, they need to find somewhere else to hang out. I especially hate it when girls try to dress "like a bgirl," whatever their definition of that is. You know, tshirt and sweats, vans or converse, maybe a beanie or a hat and take pictures all night so they can tell everyone on facebook that they had fun sessioning at the event and whatnot. They stray away from cyphers and any situations where they might have to get involved. I may dress nice or whatever but it's a personal choice. I'm always like that and I'm actually immersed in the whole hip hop community here in Hawaii. I go to be inspired, to be entertained and to support my best friends and crew members. And I'm always ready to dance if someone asks me to pop or an all styles cypher starts. My heels don't stop me. I don't care if you're just getting into the bboy/bgirl/dancing scene or if you're just curious but don't come all dolled up if you're just looking for someone to give you attention. Events aren't the place for it.
