Somehow this was made in MsPaint, literally one layer. Would this qualify as pixel art?

I wanted to take some inspiration from Carles Dalmau recently. If you don't know he worked on Cult of the Lamb. So I made this illustration based on some of his work. The closest to the style I got was the angles and visual story telling in the background. Despite that I'm still proud with how it turned out and am excited redoing this later for practice. I'm hoping to improve upon this in the future, specifically in this piece.

This is a webcomic series of one page or more short stories taking place in the world of Birch Barker. This comic is based off my novel, Birch Barker: Practiced Paranormal Investigator. As stated before the short stories are within the series, but will feature moments not shown in the novel. This could be considered a slice of life in that way. Anyway if you like the characters then check out the novel on Tapas which also includes are of mine.
