Fallen Beast
@b0tster you answered an ask a while ago lamenting that no one would appreciate the work you put into the BBPSX unarmed moveset, and I simply would not stand for it. I have become the number one unarmed appreciator. I do kind of cheese Gascoigne and I do use molotovs at one point but that's more to save my own heart some damage.
working on the holy trinity of sword+scabbard weapons for bloodborne PSX modding
Multiple people asked me if I was feeling ok at work today. Do I look sick or something? Well at least I'll fit in at Yharnam.
Now playing BBPSX
So after learning about the SOCKEM code, I decided to do another unarmed run of BBPSX where I didn't use viscerals. Being aggressive and trying to sneak in damage where I could made for a very fun playthrough, and I really can't recommend this code (or this game) enough.
I never really stopped in this area to look around much but as I do, I find it weirdly unsettling. I don't know if its the darkness, the architecture poking out of the water, or the fact that it's just a much bigger space than I would expect down here, but it feels wrong in a way that makes me feel like I shouldn't hang around.
Damn, I actually did it. Obviously massive spoilers for the end of BBPSX, which is all original content. If you have any interest in Bloodborne, retro action games, or even just gothic horror, please go play this game for yourself. It's not very long and it's dense with content. You can tell a lot of talent and heart went into it. Plus, the creator of the game is currently giving it away for free! (As they always have but the free giveaway joke is still funny to me.)
