I dropped by Preux & Proper after visiting the LA Convention Center and a quick trip to Little Tokyo in my pursuit of Cosplayers. I stopped by the new Krab Queenz in South Park. There was a line and I saw they served drinks in plastic cups. I’m not much for plastic although the place intrigued me. I still had Cajun urges and I sought out Preux & Proper. They had had a tasting earlier in the week I missed and I was curious. I always liked that corner spot that separated Main from Spring Street. I was attracted to the bar but settled near the patio entrance that divided Main from Spring. It was a low key Sunday and I liked it that way. I settled on the Lamb Ribs (Jamaican jerk rub, passionfruit-scotch bonnet bbq, radish pickles) and a glass of ice tea. Notice all the cool foodie key words in describing the lamb ribs! Surprisingly, it was hot from the scotch bonnet bbq but sweet and sassy. The pickled radishes were delicious too.
