-Raven is never interested in video games, right? After all, they’re all lame games with gore for shock. Except one night, she sees Gar playing something like Bioshock or some other story driven game, and finds herself intrigued by the story line. Cue Raven starting to watch Gar play.
-Gar is weirded out at first ‘cuz like, why is she watching him?? Is she making fun of him, or…? But he doesn’t mind her company and likes answering her questions about the game.
-At some point, Raven finds herself frustrated that Gar’s stuck on some puzzle; she knows the answer, so she snatches the controls and manages to solve it and like. Wow, that was kind of awesome?
-It becomes a tradition to play story driven games together.
-It takes awhile for Raven to warm up to the controls because games are typically made with gamers in mind, and she’s just a beginner. But Gar is patient and happy to teach, and she eventually learns how to stop dying and running into things.
-They played The Last of Us together and where both sobbing ten minutes in. Both of them. Just. Tears.
-Raven still doesn’t care for first person shooter games like Zombies of COD. But she still joins in on game night every now and again. Racing games actually turn out to be really fun, especially when competing with Gar and Cy.
