"| saw you die" "Never-mind that now"
Bendy stood up with ease and immediately started looking around the room, leaving Boris sitting there speechless.
'Never-mind that now'? 'NEVER-MIND THAT NOW'? He just watched him die! He watched his brother melt into an ink puddle and slowly mold back right in front of him! And he says 'never-mind that now'!?
Boris watched his brother start to drag the shelf to the side revealing a small vent, "Perfect" Bendy said to himself and looked back at him "Let's go"
Boris didn't move.
"Boris?" Bendy looked at him worry clear on his face. "I saw you die" Bendy looked a bit puzzled as to why he was repeating himself. | held you as you died."
It clicked to Bendy how hurtful that must have been to Boris but he didn't notice, "I-I thought you were gone! I thought after everything I lost you when we were so close to having the cure! I-I-I! I just lost you! And you brushed me off! You died! You diedyoudiedyoudiedyoudied-"
Suddenly Boris felt the familiar feeling of his brother's arms around him.
"I'm sorry" Bendy said into his neck. "Baby I am so so sorry" he continued hugging him even tighter. "I know that must have scared you badly but we can't do this right now. We have to leave and at least be far enough away from her to even start this conversation"
Boris wanted to argue but he heard footsteps and βAlice's' humming so he just nodded and immediately followed Bendy to the vent. Bendy dragged the shelf back with his shadows to cover it just in time for 'Alice' to open the door, soon both heard her screech in anger as she realized both were gone.
The vent was pretty long but neither said anything while crawling through it, once they did get out Bendy immediately pointed to the stairs saying that there had to be a way down, not using the elevator. Boris didn't really understand why they wouldn't just use it since it'd get them there faster but he didn't argue and followed his brother.
They ended up having to crawl through another vent to get down to the last level.
After all that Bendy immediately hugged him again.
"Oh my brave strong boy, I'm so proud of you" Suddenly all the dread, fear and despair from watching his brother die in his arms came back and Boris weeped like little the kid he was.
"I'm so sorry for worrying you like that, and I'm sorry that I hurt you. I'm so glad you're safe." He could feel Bendy's tears seeping into his shirt as he hugged him tighter, not letting his brother be taken away from him again.
"I-I th-though- I thought" Bendy gently petted his head and ears "Shhh, shhh. It's okay. We're both okay. Everything will be alright" his brother's comforting words calmed him down slowly as he cried loudly into his shoulder.
Boris didn't know how long they stayed like that, but it was long enough for his body to rid itself of all the tears.
Bendy pulled away from him so he could hold his face.
"You are my first and greatest joy in life, you are the reason why I powered through this illness for as long as I did. You're my baby, please don't ever forget that"
Boris was sure that if he had more tears to cry they would've come down like a waterfall and not stop until he passed out.
"Where my happy widdle wolfy?" Bendy smiled gently at him making Boris snort.
"Here I am"
