he is in dorm six with carcys and mumbro (and honourary member summers)!! they have a #sharedtrampoline in their dorm but as for val's side specifically, i think it's pretty bare-bones in terms of decorations. definitely doesn't have very many pictures up -- maybe onee or two that are in a drawer... but yeah. largely just the default!! ft messy bed always

his favourite food is mac n cheese bcs he used to make that for himself and his twin brother whenever their parents were upset with them growing up (often) and it is associated w/ very comforting memories for him now :,) esp bcs he and his brother don't talk at all currently!!

i'd say that it really didn't "hit him hard" in the sense of him being upset about it. he is more than happy to be separated from his parents and the general headache that comes w/ high society, honestly. he was very unhappy with his home life in general for years and was absolutely acting out as a result of that, too, so it didn't really come as a surprise, either. the biggest struggle for him has been trying to figure out his relationship with his brother in the fallout of what happened and also, ofc, figuring out how to get by with what he has now that he can't rely on his parents.

...that ties into how he used to act out before he was disowned :,)

they don't necessarily all hold really deep and thoughtful meanings but he doesn't do them based on aesthetic value either. they all have their stories behind them. a friend taught him how to do stick and pokes a year or two back and he sort of has just started to use his own body as a canvas since then. the two i mentioned in the server are particularly important to him, though.

he loves literature and poetry!! not so much of a writer himself, but he really enjoys reading and discussing that kind of thing. i think he also does enjoy ice-skating too, although he had never done it before joining the club. took a very quick liking to it <3

he feels the same way he feels about his parents (so not very fond at all).

i imagine he got sent to longleaf the year prior by his parents in hopes that it would sort of straighten him out and now he's remaining there on some kind of scholarship/financial aid!!

On a scale of "absolutely hell nah" to "very nice yippee", how much does val like physical touch?

1. yes!! he tries to act very chill and cool about things in front of people but he gets upset easily (see: jasper ragebaiting him) and also gets excited easily, too.

2. he tries very hard to when it's for people that are important to him (birthdays, anniversaries, etc), but he doesn't have the greatest memory so it's sometimes a bit of a struggle, particularly with new people/things. he will write things down in his journal if he's really trying to remember :,) the same effort is not put in for school events or due dates though HAHA.

3. just one!! in my heart he's still dating his boyfriend back at home and they exchange letters and whatnot. <3

4. mac n cheese!! specifically the kraft dinner boxed kind.

5. very nice yippee!! he is a very touchy person with the people that he's comfortable with and is very affectionate with his friends unless they themselves dislike it!!

what would val do in the trolley question

OOOOHHHH good question..... he'd for sure let the trolley keep going. there is very little that he wouldn't do for the people that he cares about and that does unfortunately include letting the trolley run its course and run over the other five people :,) he would feel very guilty about it afterwards but not exactly guilty enough to regret it either
