Opinion on Socrates x Aristotle?

Hmm, I'll be honest, I don't know what to think of it.

Mostly because we've yet to see the kind of character Socrates is, and how he'd play off Aristotle's own personality. Perhaps Aristotle comes off as more "learning by experience", compared to Socrates, who seems a bit more focused on the theory.

But, on first impact, I still believe it would work: both seem very studious, and would get along based on that.

This is pretty much just a roleplay/ask blog for the characters in my billie bust up AU. For the lore/story behind the au check @rad-magic-dad-au . For intends and purposes of this blog, Acrion and Socrates have moved in together, but Acrions secret is still safe.

- we know that Aristotle is quite the bookworm. Considering that Socrates is a librarian, I think it's safe to say that he is as well.

- Both socrates and Aristotle are mentors to Billie.

The fact that Billie and her friends hold their club meetings in the library tells me Socrates isnt against magic.

- we dont the reason why Aristotle was hanging around the village before finding Billie, Lily and Lewis. It's totaly possible they were visiting someone 👀.

Honestly i dont have much to go off off considering how little we know about Socrates, but lets be honest there's weirder ships out there.

I ship these two. Hear me out, I can explain!

The fact that Billie and her friends hold their club meeting in the library, and that he took Billie as an apprentice, tells me Socrates isnt against magic. (Unlike others in the village)

Aristotle is, besides a hero, an author. He's got at least one published book, and I wouldn't be suprised if he's written more.

Also i hc that Socrates is a massive dork like Aristotle.

(Idk if socrates is even into men, but I wouldnt be suprised considering theres, afaik, no straight characters. If he's not though than I take this back.)

"See you tomorrow, Billie. Have a nice day." "You too, Socrates." It had been a long day at the library. Putting back books, sweeping, making sure other people haven't put any of the books in the wrong place because theres a specific way that they are sorted on the shelf, helping people find the books they're looking for. But now, the afternoon was bleeding into the evening, and the library was closed.

Walking home, Billie figured she might as wall practice a spell she'd been trying to cast. It wasn't a groundbreaking concept by any means, but ever sinse she saw Aristotle cast it, she wanted to learn it herself. Her last few attempts had been so close. Maybe if she did it like this....

There! Billie had done it! All by herself no less. Mom could wait, Billie had to show Aristotle. A sharp left turn led her to the gate, one that she'd climbed on more than one occasion. "Hey Billie! Are you going to Aristotle?!" "Yes!" "Cool, we're coming too!" Making sure no adults were watching, Billie, Lily, and Lewis quietly clampered over the gate.

Billie, having made this trip countless times by now, knew exactly where Aristotle would be. "Isn't it a little late for you three to be out here?" The kids hadn't noticed them approach. "Oh hey, Aristotle. I just wanted to show you something." The adressed man simply raised an eyebrow. "Please?" "Fine..." Aristotle sighed. "But after that, you're going straight back home."

Now was the time. Billie cast the spell once again, and summoned several large bubbles. "Wow." Lily and Lewis were instantly impressed. Aristotle, too, was surprised. "Impressive indeed. Well done, Billie." They watched the bubbles float high above them. "Now kids, as much as I want to keep standing here, I have other stuff to do. It's time you go home." "Ok... Bye Aristotle." "Goodbye."
