While Billie doesn’t know their specific variation during the events of the game, they already know at that point that they have intersex traits, and as an adult its discovered that they have xx/xy chimerism.
Despite knowing since she adopted them, Belle never told Billie that she is intersex as she didn’t want them to grow up feeling different from their peers, meaning that Billie herself didn’t figure it out untill their early teens.
Aristotle:
unidentified variation. Despite growing up knowing they were intersex, they never learned what specific variation he has. As a kid Aristotle simply didn’t have acces to these resources due to not having a supportive family, and by the time he became an adult it had never simply come up between all the heroics.
Due to being intersex, Aristotle has a complicated relationship with their gender identity, especialy so while growing up.
Arthur:
xxy syndrome (klinefelter's). He didn't find out he was intersex untill his teen, after which it took another few years to figure out what specific variation he has.
Even though he and Aristotle firts met as teens, they didn't come out as intersex to each other untill years later, as both of them were scared that the other would reject them because of it.

Perisex people will talk about intersex people as if we’re a trans identity by default, that we’re a great talking point against transphobia and are basically the same, just weird biologically non-binary people who’s terms and history they can take for themselves and redefine

I feel like the vast majority, if not all, of the people who complain about Billie bust up not being out yet have absolutely no idea just how much work goes into making a game. Making concepts, concept art, 3d modelling, 2d art, programming, bug fixes, making levels, more bug fixes, impementing assets, even more bug fixes, fix all the shit you broke while fixing those previous bugs, it goes on and on. To those who dont believe me: scratch is litteraly free and very easy to use, try making a game and see if you still think its been too long. Because newsflash: 5 years is completely reasonable for a game of this scope, especialy considering the small dev team.

I'm at the point where I think intersex people can legitimately just label their gender however they want, intersex people's relationships with sex and gender are so different from the framework perisex people keep trying to shove onto us and I think it's actually evil that intersex people are expected to justify themselves by describing in detail their medical history, autonomy, and potentially traumatic experiences with bigotry, just to be "allowed" to use literally any label for themself. If an intersex persons usage of a trans community label isn't one hundred percent fitting to how perisex people have popularly defined that label, it's because the world is built for and around perisex people. You do not get to be angry with us for carving room for ourselves into your perisex centric gendered terms and models. We will not disappear and we will not capitulate to you. Die mad about it.

Perisex trans people really need to stop using gender assigned at birth as a label. It was an event and you're stealing the term from intersex people to use it badly and to create another false binary, fuck off
Also if an intersex person tells you they're agabless (such as myself), don't try to poke and prod to see "which one they are". That's weird, creepy, and intersexist.
