The au's name is actually Dollhouse au! Toybox is just one of the families/poly groups appart of it! Like the Dollhouse and the third family, Craft cabnet, which wasnt mentioned in the skizz rapto fic (which is where i assume youve come from, Hello!)

The dollhouse au is basically an au where everyone in it is a terrible person to some extent and in a big poly marrage. impulse is a long time serial killer who has his "dolls" (his partners). he loves them and takes care of them and is also a massive control freak. Theres a whole collective timeline, and the other families are also impulse's doing to an extent! (Though its a lot more complicated then that). Grian, Ranboo, and Scar collectively run toybox, and Doc n Beef run craft cabnet!! Member lists! (I am debating about wilbur still being in toybox, but me and my friends havent been able to brainstorm/idea share in a while so for now he just doesnt get mentioned)
The au mostly focuses on dollhouse though, and the time line starts at highschool when impulse is about 15-16, and actually focuses on ex/Xisuma and them getting into an abusive relationship (consensual abuse and cnc) to start with, and then leads into impulse and zed, Xisuma's best friends who are a couple and the president (impulse) and vice president (zed) of the student council, wanting there own delinquent boyfriends too, which leads into a whole thing with impulse getting skizz through dubcon violent sex and kidnapping. And zed getting tango (ex's best friend) through dubcon sex (was a very common theme in the highschool era) and mindbreak because the pretty blonde boy had internal homophobia so zed decided to ride him and have impulse dick him till he became a mindbroken sex addict dependant on zed. Then zed wants Xisuma and ex, and so impulse lures them to the sudent council room to talk and gets his ass handed to him and challenged for thinking they were stupid enough to fall for his drugging trick. It turns into a challenge where impulse has to kidnap them both within a week or leave them the fuck alone forever. Xisuma gets kidnapped in a day, but ex isnt as easy, and its a contest of pride between them. Impulse gets help from tango and ex ends up slipping while doing parkcore and they both have hurt prides about it. A LOT more happens in just the highschool era alone, but its very very hard to condense it all!! But the timeline goes all the way from then to current. Current at the moment is them at 26 having gone through a LOT in the past decade, but all still being happy and together.

Isnt it weird? This au actually started as ex/Xisuma centric/focused can you believe it? They're still there, and very important to the story, but its just fun to think back on.
Its actually very hard to explain everything properly, but if youre intrested in reading all the brainstorming, planning, chunks of writing, etc. Then the au is actually in @fagladder 's server (hey bud sorry for the tag), of course youd have to dm him for the link, but if you join the server id be happy to tag u in the spot the au is in!
I am, however, gonna say that i dont accept creative input from anyone other than my two friends who are making the au with me, so please dont feel upset if i shoot down ideas, its not personal or anything! The au is just very precious to me so im a little protective!
