We know it’s been a tough few weeks in the VIP fandom, but we must carry on...

This is just a reminder that the deadline to submit your buddy request forms for the G-Dragon ACT III, M.O.T.T.E tour dates in North America is July 1st, 11:59pm, Pacific. (Los Angeles Time)

PLEASE NOTE:  We cannot offer any guarantee that we will find someone that meets your requirements because it depends on how many people sign up for the project. (For example: We have requests for buddies to share a ride with, but we can’t pair people up because they’re driving from different areas.) We’re trying our best, though!

If you want to help, we would greatly appreciate you spreading the word about this project on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc, so that we can get all the remaining requests filled before the concerts. Please check the current list of “Travel Buddies Needed” for more info.

If you would like to request a travel buddy for yourself, please fill out the form here before the deadline.

IMPORTANT UPDATES:

If you have already requested a travel buddy: You should have received a message with a status update via one of the contact methods you provided on your request form. Please make sure you check your spam folders and all your social sites for our messages and send us a reply. If you still do not see a message from us or one of our admins, please email us at [email protected]. 

Alternatively, if we messaged you and you did not reply, you have until the deadline to get back to us. Otherwise, we will assume you have found someone to go with and/or are no longer interested in the project, and you will be removed from our list. Again: You will be removed from our list if you do not reply to our messages by the deadline. Please make sure to check your spam folders and all your social sites for our messages.

Message for VIP going to the shows from afar:

If you’re driving to any of the North American tour dates from far away (30-60 minutes or more), and you are willing to give a fellow VIP a ride to the show, please fill out the request form & note that you are offering a ride, and from which area. We still have a few people needing rides to the San Jose, Houston, & Miami shows. Please check the current list of “Travel Buddies Needed” for more info. Thank you!

If you’re planning on booking a hotel room/airbnb and would like to split hotel costs with a fellow VIP, please check the current list of “Travel Buddies Needed” as well, since we do have a few people still looking for hotel roommates.

Background:

Back in 2015, one of our admins helped organize a “travel buddy” system to help some Tumblr/Twitter VIP meet up with fellow VIP attending the same MADE Tour dates in North America. This consisted of pairing up people within the same age range in groups of 2-4 so they could meet up before/after the concert, hang out together while waiting in line at the venue, share a hotel/airbnb, or even share a car ride down to the event location.

With G-Dragon venturing on a solo world tour this year, we’ve seen many VIP express excitement at the thought of going to one or more of his tour dates - as well as anxiety at trying to find someone to hang out with at said tour date(s) because they’d be going alone.

Because of the previous “travel buddy” system our admin worked on for MADE Tour, people have asked for help finding "travel buddies” for the upcoming North American G-Dragon tour dates as well. Since there are more North American tour dates this time around, we decided to open up the project on the VIP International platform.

Details:

This project is for anyone who is planning on attending any of G-Dragon’s North American tour dates who needs someone to:

Hang out with before/after the concert

Hang out with while at the venue

Share a hotel/airbnb with

Share a car ride with (whether you’re driving or need a ride)

Based on your request, the VIP International admins will group you into groups of 2-4 people, within the age range you specify, for any of the tour dates on the list. We will only be providing you with each other’s contact information; you are responsible for communicating with each other and coordinating your meet up on your own.

How it works:

Simply fill out the “Travel Buddy Request Form” linked at the bottom of this post with all of the required information. Once we have a response meeting your specifications, we will contact you with your assigned buddy’s name and contact information. After that, you are free to communicate with the other person at your convenience to organize your meet up and/or travel plans.

We will only be pairing you up with a “travel buddy” based on the information you provide on the request form, so please be sure you fill the form out entirely and correctly. We will not be organizing any meet ups or travel plans for you, so please make sure to provide correct contact information so your assigned “travel buddy” will be able to contact you accordingly.

While we are currently only opening up this project for the North American G-Dragon tour dates, we would be more than willing to help out fans attending the GD solo tour in any country, if the demand is there. (Simply fill out the form linked at the bottom of this post, select “other” as your tour date, and include the location you are requesting a “travel buddy” for.)

We will not pair you up for hotel or commute buddies, nor will we be pairing you up with anyone over the age of 18, without parental/guardian approval first.

JOIN US TONIGHT FOR A SPECIAL LIVESTREAM EVENT

Due to demand - and the success of our last livestream event - we would like to invite you to join us tonight at 5PM KST for a livestreaming of V Live’s BIGBANG10: THE CONCERT 0.to.10 Final in Seoul special.

The V Live special requires you to purchase a pass to watch, but our livestream event will be provided to you free of charge. (If you would like to donate any amount to go towards future projects or giveaways, feel free to message us to find out how.) However, our livestream will be limited to 5 rabb.it rooms, so space is very limited (~120 people). We expect the rooms to fill up quickly, so if you would like to join us, please direct message (DM) us on Twitter @bbvipint ASAP to save your spot in a room.** 

Upon messaging us, you will receive a confirmation reply. You will be assigned a room based on a first come basis, and will receive a link to your assigned room between 4:00-4:30pm KST. Please make sure you are online around that time and able to get into your assigned room, as we will be checking to make sure all rooms are full. If you are not in your assigned room by the time the concert begins, your spot will be given to someone else. (If you have any technical difficulties, please let us know ASAP so we don’t give your spot away.)

MOVIE NIGHT WITH VIP INTERNATIONAL! Weekend #2

Because there’s just never enough time to fangirl in one day, is there? ;)

Due to popular request within the chat, we’re having a second weekend of Movie Night. This time we’ll be featuring the infamous - and second most requested title within the chat - Commitment, starring T.O.P. (Yes, the movie behind T.O.P’s infamous hand injury in 2012.)

Join us in the chat on April 17th (or 16th, depending on where you live) at 2pm KST (Korean time) for the first screening of Commitment, followed by Tazza: The Hidden Card (starring T.O.P) at 4pm KST.

As for those of you who missed our Movie Night last weekend, it’s your lucky day! We’ll be following the first two films with a re-broadcasting of 71: Into The Fire (starring T.O.P), and 19-Nineteen (starring Seungri & T.O.P) from 6pm KST to 10pm KST.

MOVIE NIGHT WITH VIP INTERNATIONAL!

Due to popular request - and as a thank you for all of you who helped get BIGBANG to the top of the FUSE poll over the past few weeks - we will be holding a “Movie Night” today (Sunday) at 1PM Eastern time. That’s 2AM, Monday, 11th of April, Korean time.

Join us in the chat where we will be watching 19 - Nineteen (starring T.O.P & Seungri) at 1:00PM EDT, followed by 71: Into The Fire (starring T.O.P) around 3:00PM EDT. We recommend you bring your pizza, popcorn, and maybe some tissues. *ahem*

Please keep in mind that the time was chosen by most of the people that requested this in the first place. We know some of you can’t make it, so we might be doing this again in the future. Just stay tuned for the announcements. ;)
