This is the first of several images from my recent trip into the interior in British Columbia. This image is looking down an access road to the CN rail line running along the Fraser River. Here is where the Fraser meets the Thompson River. The clear waters of the Thompson mix slowly with the muddy waters of the Fraser. The bent yellow gate reminded me of the minimal sculptures I loved the most during undergraduate school. The beauty is here, on this road, as much as looking at the snow covered peaks. Finding these unnoticed landscapes, which are part of daily life here and often overlooked, is my aim.
