Loki for the comfort character ask!
IS THIS ASKING ME TO DO THE WHOLE LIST OF QUESTIONS BECAUSE I WILL-- (ok I’ll choose my fave questions i guess lol)
*also disclaimer i haven’t seen ragnarok or IW so this list does not include any moments from those films*
1. how long have i known about them - very recently actually! only about a month ago. but i am In Love <3
2. whether or not they’ve ever made me cry - yes, during thor and thor 2 I cried with each fake death despite the fact that I knew they weren’t dead. and I know I will cry again.
4. what about their personality i like - they’re so snarky!! also just got that queer-coded villainous vibe (i know I should be mad but I’m not--also they’re literally queer and genderqueer, soooooo...), and of course very sExY. but also loyal to people they love ONLY when they want to be *cough* thor.
5. what about their backstory makes me emotional - the way they were treated by Odin. fuck Odin!!! i want to write a whole fic that’s just Odin-bashing. we do not stan Odin, fuck him, he is an abuser and always treated Loki more like a ticking time bomb, or even a political tool, rather than a son. I already hated odin but then i read Where Mischief Lies and i hated him even more skfdjg
6. the moment of theirs that made me the saddest - the moment in thor 1 when they were holding onto Gungnir, and Loki’s like, “I could have done it father!” and Odin says, “No, Loki,” and then Loki lets go. like!?!?!?!?! I DIDN’T NEED TO HAVE MY HEART RIPPED OUT OK?
9. my favorite canon outfit of theirs - it’s gotta be either the king of Asgard or the Jotunheim outfit! OR their outfit at the feast in Where Mischief Lies!! I can’t choose lol. (for reference: the WML outfit is a high-collared coat with “green ribbing” as well as loose pants, and the best part--boots that are: “black, over the knee, and with heels as long and thin as the knives he kept up his sleeves.” YES, KING!)
10. my favorite moment with them in canon - the throne room scene in thor 1 just has so much BDE lmaooooo, but also when they hit that guy in avengers with the staff and then proceed to yell “KNEEL” and the like. you know how it be.
11. my favorite relationship they have with another character - thor! they have so much chemistry together, and though I don’t ship them because they are 100% brothers to me, they just have this great banter, and their relationships reminds me of me and my sister<3
not gonna say anything about the way fandom/canon portrays Loki because I don’t know enough about that yet, lol. but YEAH! this was fun. thanks for the ask babe<3 and sorry i made this so long hahaha
