Roman actually really likes science. Cause science, sure you need intelligence and math and exact measurements and memorization and all that jazz.
But the other part of science? Is ideas and dreams and basically, creativity. So contrary to what some might think, he actually enjoyed it when Thomas was going through his Chemical Engineering phase. Imagine all the things he could create!
