Why is there still so much hate for Mike?

Yeah what he said in “December” was blunt as hell, but this is after how many years of Lucy being abusive to him?

Even if you think he was too mean, how does that justify Lucy saying out the side of her mouth to him that she would rather try to kill herself again than be nice to him?

Mike isnt perfect but Lucy is awful after that.
