   If it finally happened that someone could see Cole, usually would treat him with curiosity, fear, sometimes, but the boy was not used to hostility; not to mention it was a feeling beyond his comprehension. Cole n e v e r responded with the same  ––  so often it came out of misunderstanding.

            “You are really sad...” his voice slightly louder than a whisper; but with lowered head he stepped back.

        She watches it now... just as she had for hours and days before this. There is never any safeguard when it comes to putting any trust in a demon. Despite her reservations, and they were rather vocal, the being next to her is still amongst the party. Among the momentary silence, there are clashes of mud along boots, pants in order to catch one’s breath, and the overall groaning of exhaustion. 

        Her eyelids narrow in the periphery of her vision. She does it because she cares... though she will never admit it. The inquisitor is someone she is close with. And this thing... stands in the way of that. It reeks of danger. 

        “Don’t think that any of this means that you have earned my trust,” she warns lowly.

              ❝  ...  ❞  Eyelids are reduced to a singular squint, mouth hanging slightly agape whilst Krem tries his hardest to figure out why this figure looks so familiar. Not to say that it’s an extraordinary or particularly noticeable set of features he looks upon, but he’s certain he must’ve seen the other somewhere.      The answer doesn’t come to him quite yet, which is rather frustrating considering he’s well past the allowed length of silence whilst looking another straight in the eye.  ❝  Have we met before?  ❞     ( // @bcdteeth )

“Everyone says I should kill ye.” Feyn’s grip on his dagger tightens, but he makes no move to use it. Instead, he watches the demon closely, trying to get a feel for it. They’re not like others, that’s for sure--it hasn’t attacked him yet, and unlike Cole, it hasn’t pried into his mind.

“What’s yer purpose? Why’re ye here? Who took ye outta Elgar'vhen'an?”

        She tries to be UNDERSTANDING.  She tries to be TOLERANT.  But there are things that are WRONG, no matter who you are --- mage, Templar, innocent caught in between.  There are things that are cruel, and evil, INHERENTLY AND WITHOUT END, and which will never be better.  And DEMONS are some of those things.  REVENANTS.  So she is more than a little PISSED OFF about this THING being a part of the organization she has pledged her loyalty to.  

                              “What do you want, DEMON?” she spits, the lyrium in her blood SINGING with the desire to do harm.  “Make it quick before I remember all the reasons I should KILL YOU.”
