It’s past midnight, and I still don’t know who will run my province
BC politics are always wild, tbh
It’s bad for my already shattered nerves!

Another successful voting day! Proud of me and @madkeagster for taking the time to #vote! #bcelxn #votendp #ivoted it's important as hell folks and there is still time! Voting stations are open until 8 PM! You can help better our #beautifulbc (at First Baptist Church)

To the Non-Voters
Hey BC,
48% of you are lazy and/or apathetic, and it’s bullshit.
Democratically-elected leaders have mandates and exist in the public realm because WE vote (or apparently don’t vote) for them. If you can’t take a few minutes to inform yourself and then go take part in a process that other countries have fought, and are still fighting, civil wars to take part in, then there is something wrong with you, not the system.
Pretending these elections don’t affect our lives, healthcare, education, and the environment we live in is ignorant.
Don’t agree with any party? Then spoil your ballot and go organize: there is no excuse.
(And fyi, you should be engaged and organizing the rest of time, too.)
There are ways to vote ahead of time or from out of province, if that’s your situation.
I’m appalled.

My reaction to the 48% turnout
how is it that low
oh wait I nearly decided not to vote—despite the fact I've voted in every election I've been able to vote in and that I'm a politics nerd
yeah okay I guess I can't judge
Just tuning in to the stream of the B.C. election debate…even though I’m a Maritimer…who lives in Ontario…
Seriously though. Are there even BC Liberals out there who believe Christy Clark balanced the budget?
