note: knobs or sliders

bcr2000 (top right) or bcf2000 (top left)? sliders would seem to have tighter control, and do i really need, what is that, 24 rotary knobs? 

i think i'll go for the korg slim-line rotary/slider combo thingy. i can afford it in a day or two and it'll give me a better idea of how i'll be using it, and whether i'll prefer knobs or sliders.
