Without resorting to major stylistic experiments, the band remains true to what made them great: powerful mid-tempo grooves, brutal riffs, and precisely executed blast beats, carried by deep, clearly articulated vocals. The production is powerful without sounding overpolished—every riff comes through clearly, every drum fill hits the mark. When it comes to songwriting, VOMITORY continues to rely on its core strength by combining raw intensity with subtly structured, varied arrangements that never feel monotonous despite the intensity. The result is a solid album that unites classic elements of Swedish death metal in a contemporary form and consistently carries VOMITORY’s signature style. The Swedes remain brutal.
