I taught my photography workshop here at BCI how to use a vintage Polaroid camera yesterday and then sent them out to make their own B&W prints! Excited by this retro process, they conceived of and made some very cool images. I managed to snag an image of a couple, shown above.
So I have to admit, I've been a little out of commission for the last few weeks--but for good reason! I am back at BCI this Summer for my third year as an artist in residence teaching photography. So far, so good! My students are great: fun, energetic and enthusiastic about learning. Its also been great being back here in California and at the Brandeis-Bardin Campus, which is such a beautiful piece of land. The other day I took a little walk around the horse barn after I was done teaching and just marveled at the captivating and crumbling landscape around me. I am posting a few of the images I captured here.
