“You’re full of it,” Gracie said, a quiet laugh and small smile on her lips as she looked up at the other. She was supposed to be studying, but she didn’t mind the others company. In fact, it was welcome. “I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about, but you’re good at faking it.”

“Oh, fuck off,” Nova snapped, arms crossed over her chest as she continued to walk away. Yet, the other kept following beside her, kept trying to talk to her. Finally, she stopped, turning to face them. “Honestly, will you leave me alone? I don’t wanna talk to you.”

Addie wasn’t a partier. She didn’t like crowds. She didn’t like drunk people bumping into her and she did like how loud they got. In fact, she was struggling to find anything she really liked about parties. Maybe the free alcohol. No, not that, either. Despite the fact that she had a plastic red cup in her hand, she hated the taste of the drink in it. After having been bumped into by one too many drunk boys she gave up, and decided to try and make her way outside for a break. Even getting out was a task, and by the time she’d gotten outside she was beyond bitter. She hadn’t been looking when she walked out, and she ended up bumping into someone. “Fuck,” she hissed, only really upset because her drink had spilled out of the cup and onto her hands and there was a little on herself.

“Oh, no you don’t,” Dante told the other, mostly teasing but also slightly annoyed. “You can’t come hang out here while I’m working.” Not that he didn’t mind the company. And the store was rather dead at the moment anyway. But, still. They always distracted him and his dad would tell him how he has to ‘give it his all’. “You’re too distracting. You’re gonna get me fired.” Another joke, since it was just him, Nova, and their parents that worked in the shop anyway.
