I bought these cute little lantern lights for my room. and once I turned them on they looked so colourful and bright I wanted to see what it would look if I photographed them.
After taking these photos it has really inspired me to look into light in art.
On holiday this year I went to the lovely Isle of Wight and the campsite we stayed at let of fireworks every Friday, here is a photograph I took of one of the fireworks. Holly Parkhouse Photograph.
As a part of our tuesday lesson, we were asked to create a portrait on 6 pieces of A2 paper stuck together.
I decided to do my portrait on Ronnie Radke who is the lead singer of one of my favourite bands. I didn't really know what to fill the space with around him but thinking about his past with drugs, death and prison i thought that i could incorporate that into my work .
I have looked at the artist Daniel Eatock whilst doing the Olympic project.
I found him very interesting and different. Although his logo is simple it is also very effective. The current logo designed by Wolff Olins a brand consultansy is not appeling at all. They have had many complaints saying that it is ugly and should'nt have been made the official logo.
In my opnion Daniel Eatock should had been the designer to have his logo as the official Olympic logo becuase it is much mor interesting.
Quick draw board marker experiment...turned out pretty well i think :)
