Ian Mitchell 😭😭😭 I was a BCR fan in my youth and it was my first concert (I was only 14 years old) that I went to Bay City Rollers - Dedication (1976) Ian Mitchell was only a short member of the band. When bass player Alan Longmuir left the band in early 1976, he was replaced by 17-year-old Ian Mitchell. He was the first member of the band to come to the Erlz outside of Edinburgh, Scotland.
