@bctgrl asked: ruffles his hair all up. "hey, kiddo!"
Jon was about to let out a huff of annoyance. He knew his hair was messy 99% of the time, no matter how much he tried to tame it. Much to his mother’s dismay. But he could at least brush it. However, when someone ruffles his hair, it undos a lot of work. He paused, and instantly the flash of annoyance went as quickly as it came. A bright smile overcame him, and let out a small laugh in happiness.
“Hey Miss. Stephanie!” Jon greeted. While he was comfortable enough to not stutter or shake like usually did around people he wanted to respect him and impress, he still wasn’t completely okay with dropping titles yet. It was a habit he developed from being raised on a farm in the country. Even after he moved to Metropolis proper, he still called people ma’am and sir, and used prefixes. It would probably never be otherwise.
“How have you been? Gotten to do any fun cases?” Jon asked, ever curious. The Batclan were usually so private, so any chance he could get he asked questions to get to know them a little better. They were important people in his and his dad’s life. He wanted to be on friendly terms with them. And friends talk about things. Plus, he admired the blonde. She didn’t seem to let the life they lived stop her from being herself.
