I think people should consider more ideas about why Breakdown and Bulkhead hate each other so much that isn't "Breakdown betrayed the Wreckers" because there are so many more things that could have happened, and here are some of my ideas:
>They fought 1v1 once because Breakdown was just being Breakdown, but after being beat, he kept trying to win against Bulkhead, starting a rivalry between the two.
>Breakdown wants to kill every one of the Wreckers but this one guy just won't die and he has to stick to his list of Wreckers in the order he wrote them in.
>Following up from that, Breakdown killing several of the canonically deceased Wreckers mentioned by Wheeljack and Bulkhead in Prime, making Bulkhead want to avenge their deaths.
>Cross-faction dating gone wrong (**not clickbait**)
>Secretly started meeting up as buddies during the war, but then Bulkhead found out about messed up shit Breakdown had done and they started to fight as enemies rather than secret friends.
>Met each other during a heated Autobot-Decepticon bar fight. Then they saw each other on the battlefield and beat each other up again.
>Friends before the war and wanted to stay friends during the war despite being on opposite sides, but then once again, Bulkhead seeing the things Breakdown did during the war.
>A bit boring but most likely; Stunticons and Wreckers just being rival teams in the war. No personal feelings they all just hate each other because they're the same team on opposite sides.
okay but imagine successfully escaping a toxic, obsessive relationship with oikawa, going to extremes to make sure that he can’t follow you – dyeing your hair, changing your name, moving across the country, basically starting a whole new life.
years pass and finally you start to relax. he’s not coming for you, he can’t find you, finally you can breathe again.
and then one day one of your friends starts mentioning this guy that she’s been dating. he’s handsome and an absolute sweetheart, he treats her like a damn queen. there’s roses that get delivered to your work most weeks and she’s seem happier, walking around like she’s bouncing on air. she jokes with you that sometimes she can’t believe that he’s real because he seems almost too perfect, her very own prince charming. you’re happy for her, really you are. she’s a good person and she deserves someone who’s gonna treat her right.
when she mentions wanting to introduce him to your small group of friends, of course you agree. you’re curious about this mystery man who’s made your friend so happy–
at least until you come face to face with her new beau. your breath catches in your throat, your very blood running cold as pretty chestnut eyes meet yours and widen.
oikawa.
he looks the same as he did back then, older, naturally, and his hair’s a little shorter, but otherwise he hasn’t changed a bit. that cruel face of his just as beautiful, his smile just as charming–
though now it only serves to send shivers down your spine.
and you can’t breathe, you can barely muster the strength to fake a smile as your friend introduces you. for the record, oikawa looks just as startled as you, and while you desperately try to steer clear of him without raising suspicion, you can feel his gaze flickering your way throughout the night.
you feel sick, you’re shaking, awful memories resurfacing with every minute you’re forced to spend in the same house as that monster. you can’t help but flinch at every affectionate peck he graces her with, the way he touches her, so familiar and gentle. you don’t know whether you want to cry or scream or grab your friend by the hand and run, but you know that if you stay here much longer you’ll break. so you wait until she’s alone, ducking back into the kitchen to check on dinner, to tell her that you’re not feeling well and you’re gonna head home.
and she’s understanding, frowning when she admits that you do look rather pale and shaky, but she only tells you to get home safe and to call her if you need anything.
grateful for the reprieve, you all but flee, forgetting just for a moment, that if she’s alone, that means that oikawa is too–
at least until a lithe arm darts out and pulls you into an empty bedroom. you almost scream, would have too if he hadn’t clamped a hand across your mouth.
yet instead of the assault you’re expecting, oikawa promises you that he’s not there to hurt you, he just wants to talk. to apologise.
he swears that it’s a coincidence. he had no idea you were here, or that the two of you were friends. he’s changed, he’s so sorry for everything that happened, for how he hurt you, drove you away, he genuinely loves your friend – he swears it. he hasn’t hurt her like you, and he won’t. he’s been to therapy, he’s working on himself. he knows what he did to you was beyond horrible, that he doesn’t expect your forgiveness but he’s trying to make amends by being better.
you have every right to tell her, but he’s begging you not to- not yet.
just give him a chance to show you that he’s not the man you remember, the one who broke you. please.
doesn’t she deserve happiness too?
you don’t give him the satisfaction of a reply, scampering away like a frightened little bunny the moment he loosens his hold. he doesn’t try to stop you, just watches you flee.
do you tell her that the man she’s fallen head over heels in love with is a monster? do you just tuck tail and run, start up somewhere new and pray to god that he won’t follow you? or do you keep your mouth shut, put faith in him when he tells you that he won’t so much as lay a finger on her, all so that she can continue to live out her rose tinted fairytale? it’s been years since you left, what if he does love her? what if he is trying to change?
you have a life here, you don’t want to have to pack up and start again.
yet still, as you lie awake restless in bed hours later, you can’t help but wonder, what if he’s lying? what if it’s just another trap, and he’s using her to get to you? how many times had he told you that you were his just as much as he was yours? that he’d never let you go, that he’d chase you to the ends of the earth just to drag you back to him because that was love.
so speaking of bnha, I don’t know if any of y’all are into erasermic, but this thought has not left my head for the past 48 hours and so i’m gonna share it because i have no impulse control
TW breeding kink, pregnancy stuff, slight nsfw
So the two heroes finally decide that they want to have a kid, but instead of adopting, they decide to try surrogacy. Along comes you, sweet as can be and in need of a little cash. You’re not expecting the Heroes to choose you from the agency, but (after extensive background searches and vetting) both heroes are in agreement - you’re the one they want to carry their baby.
So at first it’s all very normal. You meet with them a few times over coffee before getting everything sorted and the procedure is done - hell, both of them show up to the actual appointment, which makes you a little embarrassed, but they quick to reassure you that they’re gonna be there every step of the way. This is their kid - the most important thing in their lives, of course they’re gonna want to be there for them (and you). They’re such a nice couple and they seem to like you, and it honestly doesn’t even seem real sometimes, but you’re so happy to help them out.
And nothing really seems out of place, until your first ultrasound. Mic insists on coming to pick you up for the appointment, and who are you to turn him down? It’s just that you kind of live in a bad part of town? And your apartment’s a little run down, but hey, rent is expensive and you’re making it work. Except neither Mic nor Shouta are particularly thrilled about your living conditions. You’re carrying the child of two pro heroes, they’re not trying to scare you, but you realise that if anybody with the wrong intentions were to find out, you’d be in danger?
So they suggest that you move in with them. There’s tons of space - they’re richer than you think, sweetheart - and that means that they can keep a closer eye on the pregnancy. It has to be nicer than your one bedroom shoebox, and won’t it be nice to have somebody there to look after you a little too? You’re carrying their child - you deserve to be spoiled a little.
The changes are subtle, so subtle, the heroes themselves aren’t even really aware they’re happening. They like having you around - there’s something oddly satisfying about coming home after a long day to see you sitting on the couch with a book in hand, absentmindedly rubbing your growing stomach with a quiet hum. The first time the baby kicks, you call them over so excitedly, and you’re so caught up in the odd sensation that you miss the shared look between the two of them. You just seem to slide into their life - Hizashi cooks for you (a pregnancy approved meal plan) and you try to keep the place neat and tidy while they’re gone - though Shouta warns you not to push yourself. You see them off every morning, and you’re there most nights when they get home - sleep doesn’t come as easily as it once did, so you sometimes just move to the living room, tune into Hizashi’s show and try to distract yourself - they’ve come home a few times to you passed out on that exact couch. On those nights Shouta has no problem carrying you up to your room and tucking you into bed with a kiss on your forehead During the days they have off, you usually spend it with them, lazing around their penthouse apartment or helping do baby stuff - getting the nursery ready, shopping, reading pregnancy books.
When your body aches and you’re overtired and worn out, Shouta will drag you upstairs, force you to lie down and give you a massage that has you moaning appreciatively beneath him. Hizashi’ll hold your hair back when you get morning sickness, rubbing your back soothingly. Affection becomes second nature between the three of you. Truthfully, you’re not sure how you would have gotten through this pregnancy without them. But there is a little part of you that worries about what’ll happen when you actually give birth - you’ve become so used to living with them, it’ll be weird to go back to being strangers.
Meanwhile, as your pregnancy goes on, the heroes are having the same kinds of thoughts. Well, almost. You see, they’re growing kind of attached. You’ve always been beautiful, but the sight of you, breasts swollen, tummy round with their child... it’s growing on them. Fuck, who are they kidding - it’s hot as hell. They’d be lying if they said they hadn’t imagined how it would feel to fuck you like that, how it would feel to breed you themselves, the proper way. You fit in so well with them, they adore you. You’re their sweetheart, and suddenly they’re not all that keen on letting you leave them at the end of this whole thing.
You’ll make such a good mother. They understood it when you explained that you didn’t really want kids of your own - at least, not yet, you’re still so young! But that was before you had them. They can support you, look after you so much better than when you were on your own and between the three of you, the kid’s gonna be the most spoiled little angel on the planet. And... and they like you a whole fucking lot, they love you, and you feel the same too, right? That’s why you curl up to Shouta when your hormones make you all emotional at the drop of a hat, it’s why you blush so prettily whenever Hizashi drops to his knees and showers your pregnant stomach with kisses.
You’re gonna be a family. And when the baby is born, well neither hero has much objection to the thought of getting you pregnant with another. You’re gonna make such a pretty little housewife for them.
ok but your stalker being the local country town cop loved by literally everybody would be the worst. like he helps little old ladies cross the street, who’s really going to believe that he broke into your apartment to have a little snoop around while you were away at work?
oh, he keeps pulling you over for reckless driving, trying to convince you to exchange ‘favours’ to not write you a ticket? you should be thankful that he’s letting you off with so many warnings - other officers might not be so lenient.
there’s been an increase of break-ins and petty crime in your area, of course they’re adding additional patrols - why else would officer daichi be parked out the front of your apartment in the very early hours of the morning, every morning?
are you really going to submit a formal complaint against him - miyagi police force’s golden boy? you know he saved the mayor’s son from drowning last summer, right? bold of you to assume that report wont ‘mysteriously’ disappear the moment you leave his superior’s office.
not before daichi gets a good look at it though. really, sweetheart? are you trying to ruin his life?
So, you’ve talked a little bit about how Ushi and Tendou feel sharing a soulmate, and you’ve also talked a little bit about how the twins feel: how do Iwa and Oiks feel? I’m genuinely curious
In a surprise to absolutely nobody, Iwa and Oikawa are my faves 🥺
In a way, they’re lucky because they’ve known each other since they were kids, even more so because they have the exact. same. words. The chances of that happening, even when two people share the one soulmate is so, so rare.
They’ve known since the first time they saw each other shirtless - at the public pool the summer Oikawa moved across the street - what that meant. Oikawa was mad, furious even that his new best friend had stolen his soulmate-
For about a day and a half.
He liked Iwa too much to stay mad. He might be brash with an irritating habit of insulting him that was usually accompanied by a slap to the back of his head, but he knows deep down Iwa likes him too. They’re best friends, he supposes it’s only further proof of the bond they have with each other that they’re going to share their soulmate too. Of course, he’s also confident in the knowledge that he’s going to be the favourite. No offence to Iwaizumi but he has nothing on Oikawa’s natural charm and good looks.
Meanwhile, Iwa internalises it, he doesn’t lash out like Oikawa does, doesn’t say a word to stop him when the boy bursts into tears in the middle of yelling at him and storms off. Of course it hurts. His parents only have one soulmate, why should he have to share- and with shittykawa of all people. But he’s lying awake in bed that night, mulling it over when he realises that it doesn’t really matter. Whether they like it or not, they have the same soulmate.
He doesn’t understand how the universe works, he already knows his words don’t really make sense, that they’re not quite right (and he hasn’t even begun to unpack that) but he can’t change it, and there’s no use in fighting. If he’s supposed to share his soulmate with Oikawa, then that’s what he’ll do. They were always going to be in each other’s lives, he’s known that pretty much from the start. This just kinda proves it.
And there are worse people to share his soulmate with.
this is all going under a read more because it’s mostly just my inability to shut up whenever a thought occurs to me, but-
being the spooky season i’ve been rewatching some of my horror movie faves and thinking about the whole zombie survivalist type genre and how well that would apply to a yandere like Kuroo.
Because it’s one of those things where people forced together in crazy life or death situations form deep bonds quickly, maybe Kuroo saved you from getting bitten, or maybe he stumbled across you on a supply raid and everything went south real quick. Either way he takes one look at you and decides right then and there that there is no way in hell that you’re leaving his side.
He doesn’t know how you’ve managed to survive this long on your own, how you can still be so god damn fucking sweet after everything, but it doesn’t matter - he’ll be damned if he lets anything happen to you.
And maybe it doesn’t start off that bad - it’s just an instinct, you rely on each other, you trust him to protect you, and he will - he swears it. He doesn’t know how anyone could resist that pull, even after all of this you still scream 'helpless’. The sight of you holding a knife or a gun makes him uneasy, it’s not that he doesn’t know you can handle yourself, it’s that you shouldn’t have to - that’s why you have him. He understands that it’s a necessity in this fucked up world, but that that doesn’t mean he has to like it.
He just wants you safe and out of harm’s way, what’s so wrong with that?
And of course, after spending so much time together, just the two of you, it’s only natural that other feelings start to develop. You two really only have each other, and as far as he’s concerned that’s all you’ll ever need. Sure, he’ll let you talk him into banding together with some other survivors, but at the end of the day, you are the only person he gives a damn about - everybody else can burn for all he cares.
It’s a running joke between the two of you every time you’re forced to head out from the safety of your hideout; let everybody else die first.
Except, Kuroo’s not joking in the slightest. As much as it might grate on him, he’s not the one in charge of this shitty little band of survivors, which means he can’t do all that much when you’re chosen to go along on a supply run. He’ll always go with you, though. That’s non-negotiable. For all your amazing qualities, you do have your faults - you’re too kind to the others, you care about them. Given the chance you’d risk yourself if it meant saving somebody else, and Kuroo simply can’t have that.
He doesn’t hate the others, a few of them he could honestly say that he actually liked, but if it meant that you got away safe and unharmed, he won’t hesitate to toss each and every last fucking one of them to the horde to be ripped apart. He’ll lie, manipulate, play whatever dirty, underhanded tricks he has to to make sure that you both make it home in one piece. If that means the other have to die, so be it.
And when you’re lying curled up in his arms blissfully oblivious, he’ll rest easy with a smile on his face knowing that he did what had to be done.
