Facebook set to "evolve" the way we share information.
With the annual F8 meeting about to take place Facebook executives stated, "This will be the biggest evolution of Facebook, and social networking, since we introduced Apps." Many of us have been complaining because of some fairly new changes to the news feed and user interface. Facebook has said it was just a small procedure to get us used to the new tweaks about to take place that will supposedly, "Change the way people share information online forever." A lot of users have noted that many of the recent changes to the UI is similar to the Google+ interface and that Facebook introduced the Lists feature because of the Google+ much praised "circles" that make sharing information with some people and keeping it away from others so much easier. One of the only things I can praise Facebook's newest updates for is throwing out the character limit of status updates, so you no longer have to go and delete things if your status is a little long. In my opinion this is all just a way to hype up the site since they're facing competition with the FAR better Google+, and maybe the same fate as MySpace eventually as more changes mean more complications and more migrations from Facebook to G+. The F8 meeting will be watched by people all over the world in anticipation of what to expect with what Facebook employees are calling "The evolution of social networking." You can watch the F8 convention here.
