Walking down the hall of the company your boyfriend worked at, with a cake and lighted candles, has to be one of your favourite memories in the time you have spent with Hyunjae.

It was his birthday and of course he didn’t have a clue that you would go and surprise him. But thanks to the help of the other members you managed to come up with this plan.

Excitedly you started to walk a little faster after hearing the music from the practice room they were currently in. You could also hear some screaming, notifying you of their exhaustion but excitement for the comeback.

You couldn’t help but smile, knowing how hard they work day to day. 

Coming to a halt in front of the door just in time before you heard it open. Hyunjae standing in front of you as you smiled and spoke a soft ‘Happy Birthday’ to not accidentally blow out the candles.

He gave you smile and a thank you before he gently pulling on your arm to the middle of the room. He made the rest of the members surround you to finally celebrate his birthday.

After the candles were out, he put the cake on the table and Sangyeon went to grab plates and forks so you could eat.

‘Thank you again for the cake, you didn’t have to’, said Hyunjae with his adorable smile.

‘But I wanted to because it is a special day for my special someone’, pecking him on the lips to momentarily render him speechless.

Blushing from your confession he just pulled you close and giggled like a little child. But in all honesty, you loved it and would never change it.
