📖 Book Review: The HummingbirdDagger by Cindy Anstey YA historical mystery. Swipe for my full thoughts, but TLDR; This was the first book I’ve read by Cindy Anstey and it was… well, it was alright. I enjoyed it overall but wanted more. More suspense, more of the side characters, and more romance. I’m hoping Anstey’s other books fit my mood a bit better. 📖 Book Review: The King of Koraha by Maria V. Snyder Fantasy. Third book in the Archives of the Invisible Sword trilogy. Swipe for my full thoughts, but TLDR; An enjoyable conclusion to a unique fantasy series. I loved that we finally got to see more of the world and some of my favourite secondary characters. This series could easily have been a duology, but I still appreciated this final book that gave us more time with the characters and tied up the loose ends I’d completely forgotten were unanswered. Q: How do you choose your next read? I am very much a mood reader and have no set method. Q: What are some of your favourite fictional worlds? I LOVED the world of The Other Side of the Sky. It's such a good blend of fantasy and sci-fi.
