Storyboard P
Storyboard P is a dancer from Brooklyn, New York. I was lucky enough to get to know him at Breakin' Convention, Sadler's Wells, this year. As an artist he blew me away, unbelievable to watch. He describes his style as Mutant, an emerging style part of the flexing and waving family.
He performed each night of the sell-out London festival and each night his show was completely captivating. In trying to describe his style and what, for me, he represented on stage the closest I came was calling it liquid poetry. He is soulful, an old soul, other worldly and totally engaging. An 'artist' in an age when it is rare to see something new, deep and original.

Bristol based film maker Ben Dowden made this short film of Storyboard P freestyling outside his London hotel room during Breakin' Convention. He is dancing to Flight a track by another incredible artist Toyface, a singer from Bristol.

Overall a total pleasure to meet him. Great work, a really nice guy and some good laughs. I will be following Storyboard to see what he comes up with next. It is bound to be interesting.
