Bite Me | Blam + Rhiannon
The first thing he was aware of was the sound of birds chirping. Which was funny, because his windows had been shut last night. And he had been lying on a mattress, but now it felt like he had a root under him. What the hell? The last he remembered was being in bed with Adam, as he was almost every night. It took him a moment to sit up, startling as he caught sight of a woman standing before him.
“It’s about time you woke.” She said, her voice soft and smooth, though even with that he could feel there was a danger to her. She almost purred, and he was so unsettled he started scooting back a bit, jumping when she immediately moved to his side and a hand grabbed his shoulder, and he flinched, trying to tug away and finding that he couldn’t. The woman held him in her iron grip, her skin unnaturally pale, and if he weren’t so unsettled, he would’ve wondered a bit more about that.
But instead he was in the grip of some crazy woman who had the biggest smile on her face. He hadn’t fully paid attention, but now he was finally tuning back in to what the madwoman was saying. “You know, your boyfriend really caused trouble for me. I mean he rushed out before I could even compel him. How could the filthy mutt do such a thing? I mean really!” Blaine’s frown grew, and despite the situation, despite the fact that he was clearly in danger, he snapped, “Don’t call him that! Don’t insult my boyfriend!”
The woman just laughed then. “Oh sweetheart. Are you not aware of the situation you’re in? You’re my little bitch, my little pawn so that you’re filthy dog will come to the rescue, and I can fix the mess that was made by him leaving my lovely storm party early. He shouldn’t have done this. All this could have been avoided if he had just done like a good dog, and sat.” And all of this was over Blaine’s head really. He had absolutely no idea what she was talking about.
He had enough sense to gather that it had to have to do with where Adam and this woman were during the storm. But Adam hadn’t really gone into that with him. They hadn’t really discussed all of that. Maybe they should have. “Now, what I need you to do is call your boyfriend and tell him where we are. Remind him that it’s urgent, and that if he opts to take the time to find help, you die. And I can count the time that it would take for him to get from there to here.”
Blaine’s hands shook as he reached for his phone, fumbling for a moment before he was able to actually punch in the speed dial number to get Adam on the line. It barely rang when he heard the love of his life’s voice on the other end. It took him a moment to say anything at all. How could he tell him this? How could he...he took note of the woman’s horrifying closeness to him and finally started. “H-H-Hi Adam. I uh...I’m s’posed to...to tell you that uh...you should c-come meet me a-and...and this lady in the uh...in the forest. You h-have to c-come alone....a-and...i-if you d-don’t...she’ll....she’ll know...a-and s-she s-says she’ll....she’ll k-kill me if you’re...late. Okay I have to...to go now. I love you.” And he was forced to hang up before he could really hear any sort of reaction from Adam. Fuck. He had gotten himself in a mess again.
