Isabel was currently seated in the kitchen. She actually didn’t have the toaster in hand nor any other kitchen appliance. Right now, she was too deep in thought to think about inventing anything, which was very strange for Isa because she loved messing up Elena’s kitchen appliances. 

She decided to finally brake her train of thought to grab a glass of water. 

While opening the refrigerator door, there entered Elena who coincidently had been the main person who centered her deep thoughts. It was like Elena knew Isa was thinking of her and decided to pop up and find out what was going on. Isa began to fill her glass with water as she looked at her sister a moment before talking.

“So, I actually need to talk to you. Are you busy?”

It wasn’t every day that a princess came to the Bonfamille-Lyons’ humble abode.

Simba wasn’t that worried though, he was excited! It had been a long time since he’d seen Elena. (And, honestly, he felt pretty badly about that but a drunk driving accident was something he couldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole. He’d sent flowers, his aunt’s roses, of course, and he’d sent his love with Berlioz when he went to visit Mateo but--no, he couldn’t do it.) 

He was glad to see her outside the hospital, in a happy environment. Even if things weren’t totally happy. At least, not for Simba. While it wasn’t a near-fatal car accident, he was pissed that he was having to move his wedding. He was supposed to be married by now. 

It wasn’t fair. 

But, whatever--the doorbell rang and Simone howled. 

Simba galloped to the door, throwing it open. “Jambo!” he greeted her sunnily as the dogs crowded around their feet. “C’mon in. I’ve got some rice going, as instructed, but otherwise, the kitchen is yours.”

Some Tea, a Princess and a Book || Sylena

Sylvia was at Hatter’s with her eyes glued over a book and a nice warm mug of tea sitting on her cafe table. It was cinnamon apple and she had been sipping at it while reading, not too unaware that it was in front of her as one would assume she would be. 

She was reading a Julie Garwood book, a guilty pleasure of hers if she was quite honest with herself (more specifically The Ransom). 

The brunette knew that she could enjoy the book more by simply hopping to it, but seeing as she was out in public it wouldn’t be a good idea to to do. It was something she could do once she was in the comfort of her home. Besides, she had come to Hatter’s to gain a bit of fresh air before she had to start her shift at the library. 

Sylvia was practically reaching her favorite part of the book, when all of sudden someone appeared taking the seat opposite from where she was seated. Looking up to see the figure, Sylvia saw the crowned princess of Avalor itself: Elena. 

She personally knew the woman, having worked in their palace back before Shuriki had taken over and had even had a couple of run-ins with the princess while here in Swynlake. Immediately, Sylvia placed her book down, giving Elena a polite, cordial and rather sheepish smile.

“Oh Princesa, perdon, no te vi. I was glued to the book.”

Tattoo Care || Hermanitas

Isabel was home and in the bathroom. She was on a mission to start her first tattoo care by washing the area with some antibacterial soap as she was instructed. After her tattoo had been done, Peri had told her exactly everything she needed to do for the next couple of weeks.

Ollie then went with her to buy all she would need to properly care for her tattoo since he had experience with all of this and had done it all before. 

Now she was home and... washing a tattoo in the angle where hers was placed was resulting tricker than Isabel had imagined. It made her pause and weigh her options. Would it be smart for her to just try and manage it out? Or should she get some help? 

Isa went with option number two. Better get the help then mess up and ruin her brand new tattoo and so she opened the door and started yelling.

“Elena! I need your help! Come to the bathroom!” 

She was about to find out what her sister thought about her brand new tattoo. Hopefully, it will all be good things because she really needed the help.

Future Choices || Hermanitas

Isabel found herself at the front of her sister’s bedroom door. She was going to go in and have a conversation with Elena. The brunette had a feeling she was going to get a no for what she was going to ask for. However, even if the probability was not on her side (yes, she had done the calculations out to see her chance here) Isa figured she should at least give it a try and ask. 

A knock happened soon after and Isa then stepped in to find Elena on her bed. Smiling, the youngest Flores took the liberty to get on the bed and sit right next to Elena. 

“Are you busy? I wanted to talk about something.”

Isa was waiting for Elena to make a face. She often times dreaded when Isa came up to her needing to “talk” about something. 

“It’s nothing horrible before you get lost in your head wondering. It has to do with school.”

Que Estabas Pensando?! || Hermanitas

Isabel had just gotten home from school and had a million and ten things to do to properly get caught up. She had a hiatus when heading to NYC with Ollie and while she had properly procured all the work that she was going to be missing from all of her teachers, had everything well organized and planned she still had many things she needed to do.

She was not going to be anything less than a straight-A student. 

However, that wasn’t the prime thought that had been encompassing her mind as she took to the stairs of her place and barged into her sister’s room without caring to knock.

“You fought a wasp?!” Isa spoke exasperatingly as she glared at Elena.

“A wasp a-an avispa?! That you’re deathly allergic to!! Did you forget that?! Que estabas pensando?! Why!?”

Isa was still looking at her sister all bug-eyed giving her a second to answer back, but then the second felt far too long so the brunette started speaking all over again.

“And why was I just told about this?!”

Scrabble Lock-Down || Hermanitas

Elena was home from the hospital and that was a fact that had Isabel incredibly relieved! Of course, she was still hurting about the fact that Mateo wasn’t home yet, but he was alive and for that, the brunette was insurmountably thankful for! She couldn’t imagine ever losing both of them or either one of them for that matter. 

In the interim time that Elena had been in the hospital as well, Isa hadn’t been home too often. She was constantly in and out of Ollie’s place because the thought of home had become too cumbersome. She didn’t want to be around quiet walls that constantly reminded her of the two missing family members that were around.

All with permission given of course and through all the right channels as she asked everyone she needed to. Isa made sure not to sneak out, not even once. 

Now, however, she was home heading off to the living room with the board game Scrabble in her hands.

“I think we should play some Scrabble! And you can’t say no because I’m making this a mandate.”

Sister, Sister || Hermanitas

Isabel was currently in her room, laying on her bed with her body facing the ceiling. There was a book opened and outstretched in her hands as the brunette was reading along. It was a past time she did a lot, always burying her nose in some book, even her text books from school.  

This book though she had read several times. It was A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. It was one of her favorites. 

And Isa was sort of depressed that she was already towards the end of it. The endings were always her least favorite part because it meant that the book was finishing! That was no fun! As it was she had finished, heaving a bit of a sigh as she placed the book down on her bed.  

Now what was she going to do?! She could read another book, but she has already read all of her books at least twice. She blew a puff of air out sitting up on her bed as she started to think. 

Oh! She could see what Elena was up to!

And so, Isabel hopped out of her bed and headed out her room to find her sister. She could hear her in the kitchen, Isa’s eyes popping open in excitement as she could smell what was being cooked. She took a skip towards Elena’s side tip-toeing to take a peak over her sister’s shoulder. 

“OoOo are you making buñuelos?!”
