Trying to Figure Out “y” || DJ
Soooo, Dash was in the library.
Sounds weird doesn’t it? Dash and library together that was a rare ass phenomenon. The thing was that Dash wanted to try and improve in school this year around. It was his last year of high school and one in which he actually won’t be moving away from.
He wanted to at least try a little more.
Dash was very aware that he didn’t exactly give much effort when it came to his academics. Yes, he would plead guilty and admit to his portion of things, but at the same time school was well.... hard for him. Of course, it very well was difficult for others as well, but when it came to him, his mind processed things quick. One moment it’s there, the next is gone. It was his magic, moved as quick as he could run.
Try then to maintain focus in such conditions. It was hard for Dash to retain information, or keep focus on one thing alone and well.... it was getting worse. It was like his magic was going through some kind of surge that only heightened everything. He was sure that it was starting to become visible, his mom had even started questioning him, but Dash was avoiding it all.
As it was he was currently perched over a piece of paper, his last year math text book splayed open on the table he was seated on. He was trying to refresh his Algebra so the problem he was working on wanted him to figure out “y.” Well, he was struggling. He had to figure out “y” while moving “x” somewhere and multiplying, and subtracting, dividing and—
He made a whole on his paper erasing. “Fuck!” His motion was so quick that it almost ripped the whole sheet. He sighed highly annoyed as he caught sight of a figure walking by. “Uh... sorry about that. I know I’m suppose to be quiet and all that....”
