Sally was heading over to the floral shop to get some things she needed for her garden. Not so much flowers, but all the other garden needs she was currently lacking. Normally, the redhead did her shopping needs early in the morning since it meant fewer people were thronging about in town.
This was always an advantage for Sally because of her magic. Often times when surrounded by far too many people, her magic could get overwhelming. She would get trampled over a heard of emotions. She sort of felt that now: sadness due to a recent death, excitement due to a new relationship, anxiousness due to a new job interview. It was one emotion after the other.
Then there were the dead.
One would be surprised how many still lingered in Swynlake and Sally could hear their whispers.
Oh, let’s not forget her visions as well, which were often triggered by touch. This time, however, the ginger had stopped in her walking when she all too suddenly came in view with present future events. (The poor people who must have passed her by at this time because there she was standing with white colorless eyes)
Sally shook her head as she came back to. Her eyes began to scan the crowd for someone in particular and yes, there she found him! It wasn’t anyone she had met before, must be new in town, but that didn’t stop Sally from very quickly approaching him.
“Hi umm... excuse me for this,” Sally said as she nudged him over to the side. In just a couple of mere seconds after, a man had run furiously by the pair of them rushing without any attention to his surroundings.
“He was going to barge into you... it would’ve really hurt. I’m Sally.”
