“I think that’s a great prize then,” I say. “The other thing we did when I judged sand castles at camp was come up with punny awards for everybody who participated. We could do that too.” I dig in my bag and eventually pull out a few blank certificates, of the “Cognratulations! You did ______” kind. (The perks of being a teacher; you always have this kind of stuff around.) “This way everybody gets something.”
“We’re definitely gonna need something like that for whatever that team’s coming up with,” Snow says, pointing up at the lazybones crew. “I’m looking forward to seeing their undoubtedly beautiful creation.”
