Psalm 51:7 (NIV) - Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
"stop! you didnt wash your hands"
I hope everyone is doing okay during this rough time in our lives.
I know it’s a sensitive subject but from the stand point of a prehealth major with a nurse mother and hospital experience:
Do not let the coronavirus scare you.
Wash your hands. Disinfect your surfaces. Don’t touch your face. Eat healthy. Get enough sleep.
Protect those around you as well. STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK. Sneeze or cough into your shirt. Keep your distance from others.
Stop relying on masks to keep you healthy. It won’t do anything. If you go to Walmart with a mask, you won’t breath anything in, cool. But if you didn’t wash your hands and then you eat or touch your face, you’re infected. Ditch the mask so those who actually need it, have it.
If you need to think of it this way- flu, pneumonia, strep, and LOTS more, you are exposed to them every day. This isn’t much different. Your body fights them. You may get infected, and you may not, but don’t be fearful!
If you are immunocompromised, be alert. Pay attention to yourself and your body, but do not be fearful. Call your doctor if you think something’s wrong; even if it’s nothing, better safe than sorry.
Don’t say it’s not a big deal, but at the same time don’t be afraid.
And whoever the hell is buying toilet paper in bulk, stop it. Everyone shits, we all need toilet paper. Stop being an asshole.
