Happy Pride Month! 🌈
As a bisexual Filipina, this wasn’t something I grew up seeing or hearing much about. When I was in high school, I remember being attracted to girls, but I brushed it off as, “Maybe I just think they’re pretty.” It wasn’t until I met another girl who was bisexual that things started to make sense. She shared her own journey with me, helped me understand my feelings, and opened my eyes to a part of myself I didn’t fully understand yet.
Since then, I’ve been open about who I am. I love to love. I love my girls, and I love my man. To me, that’s what Pride is about: loving freely and being unapologetically yourself.
And for those who question whether I’m really bisexual because I’m with a man, my soulmate just happens to be a man. That doesn’t change who I am. I can still appreciate women, just like I’ve always done.
Also… how dare you? 😌 You don’t know me better than I know myself.
