1)So is it possible for doll to get mental and physical problems from damaging the core? i.e. fall from a high place, damage the core and get one leg malfunctioning? Or even get mental damage from the fall?
2)If yes, is it possible for them to fix physical and/or mental problems by fixing the core of living doll somehow?(open heart operation for dolls lol)
3)Can doll get created already with disorders and disabilities, if creator will do smth wrong or accidentally damage some parts?(congenital)
4)And lastly - can dolls get disease or parasites? (that'll eat their cotton/yarn for example)
hmmm doll health is complicated and extensive if i let myself ramble about it, so i'll try to keep this relatively short and relevant to your questions! 1. yes, absolutely! in your example, dolls would typically be fine from a fall due to how light and filled with cotton they are, but if they happened to fall onto something in a way that it hit core on the inside of their body, it'd absolutely get damaged and potentially result in their functionality getting affected. that is if the fall doesn't damage to core too much and causes death. 2. no. once the cores are actually filled with the magic that keeps a doll alive, you do not touch it. it's a whole rule for tailors - Do Not Touch The Core. they really don't understand how or why cores work the way they do. 3. yessss yes yes. aside from generally getting messed up from Awakening Neglect™️, it's also possible to get essentially created with various disabilities. although i think it wouldn't be always chalked up to a tailor's mistake, there's other reasons why congenital issues can happen. 4. yes. me and a few other people are currently working on figuring out different kinds of doll afflictions which will all end up going into a 'medical' portion on the doc <3 as a sidenote, almost any human disorder or disability you can think of can be applied to dolls for different reasons. they have the same mental capacity as us (doll depression time), and while they don't have a nervous system or other stuff like a human has, the core is a Very Complicated thing. however there are absolutely issues a doll can have that are unique to them! also ichor is made by the core. it doesn't function like blood. its a core byproduct. that's unrelated to this post but i want to say it anyways
