I haven't seen this talked a lot here, but I'd like to make everyone aware of the information warfare of Russia & where they're trying to focus it.

The Russian misinformation campaigns are extremely powerful & I have already seen many people unknowingly sharing Kremlin's propaganda.

There is much to criticize in EU/Western countries/etc. but please be wary of sharing content from very nationalistic accounts that have activated this March.

Ukraine is THE country that is globally the 5th biggest exporter of wheat #many Middle Eastern & Nort African countries are dependent on wheat exports – both Ukrainian & Russian.#This affects a veritable shit ton of countries and if someone is trying to claim that this doesn't affect the Global South?#Be wary.#Ukrainians matter because they're people. They matter because they're a small country & it has the right to self-determination #Small countries' borders need to be respected. Especially small countries that live next to huge colonial powers.#But this war also matters because it might cause global food shortage that could destabilise many governments.#The wheat prices globally are not something ''no one cares about''. The people suffering the most are poor.

A death at sea is an honor for a sailor. The coarse material of a sail as it's wrapped around your lifeless body, shrouding it in all the winds that have passed through that very cloth. It wraps you in a way that the winds never will. A weight is placed within your 'coffin'. However weighted you were in life with sorrows or concerns means nothing when you're meant to sink to the abyss. If darkness is meant to wrap itself around you, you cannot go alone. Consider this weight a guide of sorts, it'll push through the waters you don't believe you can tread. The crash of the waves will be drowned out. Unhearing ears will fill with water. Unseeing eyes will have been pushed to a close by people that knew you not quite as well as the welcoming sea will. It happens in a breath of a moment. One, two, three-- You're heaved over the edge and dragged down-- weightless. At bliss. At home. -- Benny was never given this luxury.

Being hacked to pieces and buried haphazardly is an honor for no one.
