Omg latest update was so good 🙌 thoroughly enjoyed 10/10. But I can't believe people still think Jeremy is the birdtrayer, he is the light of my life and has clearly never done anything wrong, ever. (I mean, Birdtrayer is obviously Bea[u] – mysterious journal they don't want anyone to read – mysterious family ties to the cult including owning a skeleton key to the entire building – and then this: "Oh I wonder how those birds died" "Clearly no one here did it" *cue B looking super shifty and uncomfortable bc they're lying to everyone* J'ACCUSE!) I will hear no further accusations of my boy and if he's the birdtrayer I shall riot! 😂 You can prise my rivalmance from my cold dead hands

How dare you take the many incidences of B acting increasingly suspicious and draw a reasonable conclusion from it

i just ( finally ) finished my 1st playthrough and I REALLY wanted to say that your narrative ambience is just CHEF'S KISS; the mental movie that plays in my head while reading was well supplied and the house...

Honestly, I have to say, even playing a character who is fairly accepting, the daunting + heavy presence of the house really comes through in the narrative? and all of the little details of note that i came across gave me jumps of excitement each time.

i simply now have to replay bc i ended up with the most friend points with Elliot and while he is cool & enigmatic & all, my heart is set on Beau and i feel like I'm walking on eggshells trying not to startle him lest he flee 😭 it's okay though, i love a challenge 🤧

I’m happy to see some love for B! I think they have had slightly less friend point opportunities at this stage, but I am trying to keep it balanced in the grand scheme of things. That will be easier to do once everything is drafted, I think

A surprising number of readers are becoming better friends with Elliot than they thought 😂 I might have to cut back on how easily his friend points are given out

Aww happy Bday B! Whats a fond childhood memory that they hold dear? A favorite place to visit? 💚

These are such cute questions!

Fond childhood memory: B used to have art days with their mom. They would get in the car and drive until they found the perfect spot and then get out to paint it. Their mom would pack a picnic and everything, it was like a whole day event when it happened

Favorite place to visit: Not far from their house, there’s this one hiking trail that leads up to an overlook. The spot where the path splits off from the main trail is kind of obscured, so it’s always quiet and they rarely see anyone else up there.
