Sunset, Fantasy Island Amusement Park, Beach Haven, NJ - 9/28/25
Back to some LBI vacation pics - at this point in the season, Fantasy Island was only open on weekends, so our only day to go was Sunday. And it was only open until 7pm. It is not a big amusement park (it's crammed within one square block of Beach Haven, and these are not big square blocks); it's cute. This was also the first time I had ever gone, despite growing up here. (My mom thought amusement parks were a waste of money so we almost never went to one. But also, this one opened when I was like 16, and at that point, while I could have gone by myself, I wasn't that interested in it. Current me is a lot more whimsical than teenage me, I think.)
Anyway, pics from that are for another day. But as we left, we caught the end of a really nice sunset. I especially like it with the lights of the park against it.
